Vendors were eager to face the day, those there to help cheer the runners on were Susan Dangerfield with her Blue-Ribbon Fudge from Mt. Nebo; Cindy Foster with her $5 Paparazzi Fashions from Summersville; Debra F. Mills with D&K Art from Craigsville and let’s not forget Phat’s Food Wagon making their debut to the streets! We also welcomed Martha and Aliana from “AWAY (Formerly the Women’s Resource Center)” and Makayla from Camden on Gauley Outreach. We would like to also extend a big thank you to Jan-Care for serving as our First-Aid provider for the day, thankfully it was not used, specifically Nichole and Chris, who came to support us.
We want to extend our sincere gratitude to our sponsors; this event would never have happened if they hadn’t had faith in us and took a chance.
